Algeria, Bangladesh hold second bilateral political consultations
The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Lounes Magramane, co-chaired on Tuesday in Algiers, with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Md. Jashim Uddin, the works of the second session of Algerian-Bangladeshi political consultations.
This session was an opportunity for both parties to discuss the state of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and to examine ways to strengthen and promote them in various priority fields, particularly in energy, agriculture, higher education and trade.
These political consultations also allowed for the presentation of viewpoints and exchange of analyses on several regional and international issues of common interest, primarily the Palestinian cause, the Western Sahara cause, the situation in the Sahel region, and efforts to reform the UN Security Council.
