Mrs Mansouri receives the Executive Director of the APRM

Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of African Affairs, Bakhta Selma Mansouri, received on Sunday The current Executive Director of the Continental Secretariat of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), Marie-Antoinette Rose Quatre, who is visiting Algeria to participate in the Annual Assemblies of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group, scheduled in Algiers from May 19 to 22.

During this meeting, both parties emphasized "the importance of continuing joint efforts to strengthen the role of the APRM, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in his capacity as the current chairperson of the Forum of Heads of State and Government of the Mechanism.

They also highlighted the necessity to activate national bodies, to embed the principles of good governance, and to reinforce consultation and coordination in service of the continent’s development and stability objectives.
