Mr.Attaf receives his Iranian counterpart

The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received on Tuesday at the ministry headquarters the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the brotherly Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, who is on an official visit to Algeria,.

In this regard, Attaf held one-on-one talks with his Iranian counterpart, before holding a working session broadened to the members of the two countries’ delegations.

These talks enabled the two sides to review the different aspects and dimensions of the relations between Algeria and Iran, and examine avenues to strengthen them.

The two sides also discussed the developments of the situation in the Middle East in general, and the serious developments in the Palestinian issue in particular, notably in light of the ongoing despicable aggression against the brotherly Palestinian people in Gaza strip, according to the source.
