The Secretary General Of The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad And African Affairs, Lounes Magramane, Received Monday, At The Ministry’s Headquarters, UNHCR’s Assistant High Commissioner For Operations, Raouf Mazou, Who Is On A Visit To Algeria, From 2 To 5 December.

The Meeting Was An Opportunity To Discuss The Bilateral Cooperation Between Algeria And HCR, Particularly Regarding The Strengthening Of Coordination To Better Address The Refugees’ Issues, And Review Algeria’s Efforts With A View To Creating The Necessary Conditions For Their Reception And Accompanying.

During His Visit To Algeria The Assistant High Commissioner Will Head For The Sahrawi Refugee Camps Near Tindouf,  Where He Will Hold Meetings With The Sahrawi Officials And Representatives Of The Civil Society,” In Order “To Discuss Ways To Strengthen Humanitarian Aid For The Sahrawi Refugees And Examine Measures To Better Deal With Their Concerns,.
