Mr Attaf holds talks, in Brussels, with Sahrawi counterpart

Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held talks on Tuesday in Brussels with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Mohamed Yeslem Beissat, on the eve of their participation in the 3rd meeting of the foreign ministers of the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU).

On this occasion, Attaf renewed his congratulations to his Sahrawi counterpart following his recent appointment as head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of his country, and discussed with him the latest developments regarding the Western Sahara issue on the diplomatic level, as well as various efforts aimed at enabling the Sahrawi people to exercise their inalienable right to self-determination.

The two ministers also addressed, in a spirit of consultation and coordination, the various items on the agenda of the 3rd meeting of the foreign ministers of the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU).
