Referring to regional and international issues of common interest, the two sides reiterated their solidarity with the Palestinian people and their unwavering support for its right to establish its independent state with El-Quds as its capital.
The two ministers reaffirmed, moreover, their commitment to the principles and objectives of the UN Charter and the Non-Aligned Movement but also to the role of multilateral diplomacy in the resolution of crises through peaceful solutions that can enable the international community to overcome polarization and avoid its negative consequences on international peace and security.
