Tasked by President of the Republic, Attaf partakes Wednesday in OIC extraordinary meeting

Tasked by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, arrived Tuesday in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), to take part in the extraordinary ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), scheduled for Wednesday.

The works of this meeting will focus on the ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and its attacks on the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, amidst a dangerous and unprecedented escalation” of the situation in the Middle East because of the Zionist entity’s full-scale aggressive practices on several fronts.

Algeria’s participation in this meeting comes within the framework of its efforts and moves in favor of the Palestinian cause and its continued solidarity with Palestine’s neighboring countries and peoples in the face of the blatant aggressions committed by the Israeli settler occupation.

On the sidelines of this meeting, Attaf will hold bilateral meetings with a number of his counterparts from Arab and Muslim countries.
