Mr Attaf meets with AMU’s Secretary General in Accra

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, held discussions on Sunday in Accra (Ghana) with the Secretary General of the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU), Tarek Ben Salem. On this occasion, Minister Ahmed Attaf reiterated his congratulations to Tarek Ben Salem on his appointment as Secretary General of the Arab Maghreb Union. He also commended Tunisia, a brotherly country, for its wise decision in nominating for this position a seasoned diplomat known for his attachment and commitment to Maghreb regional issues. Mr Attaf assured Tarek Ben Salem that Algeria will back him in carrying out his duties to serve the aspirations and interests of the Maghreb peoples.
