Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs –Yemen

Algeria roundly condemns the egregious Israeli aggression against Yemen. This aggression is part of the Zionist entity’s systematic and regular escalation strategy, aimed at asserting domination over the entire region and diverting attention from its countless atrocities, especially in Gaza and occupied Palestine in general.

Even as the international judicial and criminal bodies are ramping up pressure, and global condemnation is mounting, the Zionist entity persists in its defiance and provocative actions, showing disregard for the international community and its resolutions in support of the Palestinian people and their legitimate cause.

Algeria urges the international community to fully assume its responsibilities and to ensure the criminal Israeli occupier is held accountable, prosecuted and sanctioned.
