Communiqué of the Presidency of the Republic: Algeria condemns storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli occupation authority

Algeria condemns in the strongest terms the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli occupation authority and the attacks against the faithful and defenders of the mosque. These barbaric criminal practices constitute a clear aggression against the holy places and a flagrant violation of all international laws and rules.

Algeria calls on the international community, including the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities to put an end to these criminal practices that constitute a serious escalation and a provocation for all Muslims, especially in this holy month and reaffirms its constant position in favor of the just Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people brother to the establishment of its independent state with El-Quds as its capital.
