Communiqué- Algeria condemns the terrorist attack in the Republic of Uganda

Algeria strongly condemns the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted a dormitory for students at Lhubiriha secondary school in the town of Mpondwe (western Uganda) on Friday evening, causing the death of dozens of innocent students and injuring several others.

Algeria offers its sincere condolences and expresses its full solidarity with the Government and people of brotherly Uganda, as well as its sympathy with the families of the victims of this heinous crime, expressing its wishes for a speedy recovery to all those injured.

Algeria reaffirms the need to strengthen regional and international cooperation and coordination to combat terrorism in all its forms and to work to cut off its sources of funding.
