Mrs. Mansouri receives the directress of women, male-female equality and youth at the African Union Commission

Today, at the ministry’s headquarters, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of African Affairs, Mrs. Selma Bakhta Mansouri, received Mrs. Prudence Ngwenya, Director for Women, Gender and Youth at the Commission of the African Union, who is on a working visit to Algeria.

This meeting was an opportunity to exchange views on priorities for continental action in the areas of women’s empowerment, strengthening the role of youth and achieving gender equality in African public policies. The means to strengthen coordination between Algeria and the African Union Commission in these vital areas were also discussed, within the framework of the commitments of Agenda 2063 of the African Union.
