Mr. Magramane receives UN Deputy Secretary-General

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Lounes Magramane received the United Nations (UN) Under-Secretary-General and Regional Director for the Arab States of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Abdullah Al-Dardari Sunday in Algiers.

During the meeting, the two officials assessed cooperation between Algeria and the UNDP in various sectors, mainly in the fields of justice, the knowledge economy, labor, employment and social security, environment and renewable energy, health and youth and sports.

They also discussed issues of common interest, particularly the international and regional context, marked by Israeli aggression against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, and the role of international organizations in providing aid and relief to the populations of Gaza and Lebanon.
