Mr Chaib holds discussions with Ecuadorian government members in Quito

The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, held expanded discussions on Saturday with members of the Ecuadorian government, on the occasion of his participation, as representative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in the inauguration ceremony of the elected Ecuadorian president, which took place on May 23-24 in the capital Quito.

Chaib held discussions with the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, the Minister of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries, and with the vice ministers of foreign relations and foreign trade.

The talks addressed various aspects of bilateral cooperation relations and ways to strengthen and expand them in priority areas, particularly economic cooperation, that would serve both countries’ interests and development priorities.

The meeting provided also an opportunity to exchange views on issues of common interest, with emphasis placed on the determinants of national positions in this regard.
