Mr Chaib holds, in The Hague, meeting with national community established in Netherlands

Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, paid on Monday a visit to the Netherlands, where he met with members of the national community living in The Hague.

This visit is part of the state's willingness to maintain constant communication with this important category of citizens.

It also served as an occasion for the official announcement of the creation of a new association of Algerians established in the Netherlands and to encourage the organization of community movements within the diaspora. 

In this regard, the Secretary of State highlighted the efforts made, under the instruction of the high authorities of the country, to strengthen the ties between the community and the homeland, and to involve it in all aspects related to national development.

Moreover, he praised the initiatives led by Algerian talents established in the Netherlands and the concrete role they are called to play in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Algeria and the Netherlands.
