Mr Attaf arrives in Kuala Lumpur

Tasked by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, arrived Tuesday, in Kuala Lumpur, as part of an official mission in Malaysia, a brotherly country.

This visit is part of the framework of the Minister of State’s participation in the signing ceremony of Algeria’s act of adherence to the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation in Southeast Asia, scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday as part of the 58th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

During his stay in Kuala Lumpur, Attaf will examine with his Malaysian counterpart “the means to strengthen partnership and cooperation between the two countries. He will also have bilateral talks with the Secretary General of ASEAN and with several Foreign Ministers participating in this regional organization.
