Mr. Attaf arrives in Egypt to participate in the 162nd session of the Arab League Council at the level of foreign ministers

Assigned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, arrived Monday in Cairo to take part in the 162nd session of the Council of the Arab League at the level of Foreign Ministers.

This session scheduled for Tuesday will focus on examining several issues in joint Arab action, notably the dangerous developments facing the Palestinian cause and the entire region due to Israeli escalation on all fronts, along with the crises and conflicts threatening security and stability in several Arab countries.

On the sidelines of this session, minister Attaf will hold bilateral meetings with several of his Arab counterparts.

These discussions are part of Algeria’s coordinated efforts at the United Nations Security Council, with a view to defending the interests of Arab countries and peoples and advocating for the Palestinian cause, the central cause of the Arab nation.
