Minister Attaf meets with Deputy Chairman of the State Duma

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received on Thursday the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, Vladislav Davankov, who is on an official visit to Algeria.

The meeting, held at the ministry headquarters, provided an opportunity to review the privileged friendship and cooperation relations between Algeria and Russia.

It also allowed for discussions on how to engage legislative bodies in efforts to boost bilateral partnership, especially through activating various parliamentary diplomacy mechanisms.

The two sides also carried out an exchange of views on several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
