Algiers hosts the 4th Algeria-Russia political consultations

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Lounes Magramane, co-chaired, Thursday in Algiers, the 4th session of Algeria-Russia political consultations with the Special Presidential Representative of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

This meeting, which falls under bilateral political dialogue and consultation, was an opportunity to examine the state of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of strengthening them in various areas of cooperation, as part of the continued implementation of the Declaration of In-depth Strategic Partnership signed on the occasion of the visit of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to Russia in June 2023.

The event was an opportunity to discuss several regional and international issues of common interest.
