Communiqué of the Ministry - Zionist aggression against Nablus in Palestine

Algeria strongly condemns the barbaric aggression perpetrated on Wednesday by the Zionist occupation forces against the Palestinians in Nablus, leaving several people killed and many injured.

Expressing its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Palestinian brothers: leaders, government and people, Algeria calls on the international community and the UN Security Council to immediately intervene to stop the dangerous escalation imposed by the Zionist forces and to ensure effective international protection to the Palestinian people.

Algeria reiterates its solidarity and its constant support to the Palestinian people so that they can recover their legitimate rights, in particular their right to build an independent state with El Quds as its capital.

Algeria stresses, moreover, the necessary implementation of the resolutions of international legitimacy in order to dissuade the Zionist occupier and hold it accountable for its systematic crimes against the Palestinian people, and to compel it to engage in a serious political process, leading to a just and lasting solution for the Palestinian cause, based on the principle of Land for Peace, on which the Arab peace initiative is based.
